Wakeboarding History

Wakeboarding Trick Catalog
If you are planning to perform wakeboarding tricks, you must make sure you have all the necessary safety accessories before you start. You may be a good swimmer and may find it unnecessary to wear a life vest when doing wakeboarding tricks. However, what if you get injured and find it difficult to keep yourself afloat? The vest will ensure you do not sink like a stone. Hence, never ignore safety even if you feel that it is an unnecessary burden.

The numerous tricks can be classified as

- Surface tricks
As the phrase suggests, you do not leave the surface of the water when performing the tricks. Passing the handle from one hand to another is one example of a surface trick.
- Grab tricks
These tricks involve jumping in the air and grabbing the board before landing into the wake.

- Spins tricks
These wakeboarding tricks involve jumping in the air and spinning in the air before settling down.

- Invert tricks
These tricks are very difficult as it involves jumping in the air and flipping over before landing back on your feet. You will land head first in the water if you mess up this trick.

Each and every trick has many variations. This is where the individual can improvise and impress the spectators.
